Topic 3
Protect Yourself During Your Leisure Time Activities!
Fluorescent Jacket:
When it starts to get dark, wear light-colored clothes and reflective elements (reflective strips for the ankles or reflective jackets) in order to be seen at a distance in poor visibility and bad weather conditions.
Helmet:
Helmets have long been worn in motor sports.
Wearing a helmet has also become a "must" for biking or skiing. It has become mandatory for skiing in some European countries for children under the age of 15 years (Ex: Italy).
Shoes:
Impossible to play soccer without good cleats. Difficult to play tennis or run without a pair of appropriate shoes.
Gloves:
From the goalkeeper to the golfer through the racing cyclist, each sport has got a glove that suits it.
Glasses:
Eye protection is not limited to fencing. Sun, winds, dust, splashing products (soaps) are all hazards we should protect ourselves against during our leisure time activities.
