Appropriate Tools and Best Practices ... to Do-It-Yourself Safely!

Whether it is to hang a frame or build flat-pack furniture, we all do DIY jobs. These chores account for the vast majority of domestic accidents for those between 25 and 45 years.

Lack of preparation, lack of protection, overconfidence and haste are the main causes of accidents related to domestic DIY.

Tips :

Prepare your work and provide for the necessary time.

Assess the risks and take appropriate actions.

Be particularly cautious if there might be children nearby.

Check if your equipment is in good condition and replace damaged tools.

Protect yourself with appropriate protective equipment: gloves, glasses...

Read the labels of the chemicals you use.

Be extra cautious for work in height.

Think of seeking help.
