All Together in the Kitchen
The kitchen is the coactivity in the house.
Mom cooks, dad sets the table, the eldest empties the dishwasher, the second takes out the trash and the youngest plays in this lively and busy place.
The kitchen shares with the bathroom the title of most dangerous room. For your child, it is a fantastic Ali Baba’s cave ... that you need to make safe.
Tips :
The handles of pots and pans must be turned towards the inside, away from the front edge of the stove.
Beware of the hot oven door. There are ovens with insulated doors that remain cool.
Equip yourself with a safe stovetop that cannot be turned on by a child "playing" with the knobs.
Knives, scissors and household products should be stored and kept out of reach of children.
Lock the doors where the gas cylinders are so that children cannot open them.
Do not store any hazardous product in cabinets that are within easy reach of children (dishwashing liquid looks like lemonade ...).
Do not place a hot pot, pan or dish on a towel that goes over the worktop and where your child might pull and get burnt by the things.
